Award-Module Alignment Exercise 2010

This is an exercise to capture, review and approve how the individual module learning outcomes contribute to the overall award learning outcomes.

The alignment process is an integral part not only of programme development but also of programme review. It enables programme teams to assess whether the programme learning outcomes are likely to be achieved and assessed through discrete modules. It also provides the tools to revise the academic structures of a programme.

This process should be led by Programme Board (PB) Chairs with the help of their PB teams and the co-operation of the module coordinators.
