DCU Alumni Soccer Tournament
DCU Alumni held its second Annual Alumni Soccer Tournament on Saturday 4th July, 2009. The five-a-side tournament received an enormous response from alumni and attracted 150 graduates from all walks of life. The tournament was sponsored by AXA Insurance. All participants were invited to a BBQ in the Nu Bar following the tournament.
The Alumni Soccer Tournament is now an annual event in DCU which is held in the Soccer Centre, encouraging alumni to make the most of the current facilities in DCU Sport.
This year’s tournament builds on the success of the first ever five-a-side alumni tournament held in 2008 in the DCU Soccer Centre.
The tournament is a significant event on the alumni calendar as the alumni events engage over 3,000 graduates through sporting, international and professional activities throughout the year
