Gerard Greene was born in Dublin in 1956. He studied at UCD
and spent some time in Denmark and Germany before going back
to study printmaking in the National College of Art and
Design in 1991. Since then he has participated in group
exhibitions at galleries such as the RHA Gallagher Gallery,
the Graphic Studio Gallery and the Galleri Shambala in
Copenhagen. He has had two solo exhibitions, both in Copenhagen,
and has work in collections in Ireland and Denmark.
His work is abstract, often minimalistic in nature,
his recent work dominated by colour. He lives in Dublin.
