April 2009 - Big Fish Games to open new operation and create 60 jobs in Cork

Seattle games firm Big Fish is to create up to 60 jobs in Cork with the opening of a new operation. The jobs will mainly be customer service roles and the new division will be located in Mahon. Former O2 chief technology officer Oliver Coughlan is understood to be involved with the company. Big Fish Games has several lines of business, including distribution of downloadable casual games, ad-supported free online games, game development studios, e-greetings and social networking. An official announcement is expected on Thursday.
