IWPT 2011 - Instructions for Authors
12th International Conference on Parsing Technologies
October 5-7, 2011, Dublin City University
These instructions are for submitting the final version of long and short papers to IWPT 2011.
Submission
Papers are submitted through the START system. The deadline for submission (of both long and short papers) is September 12, 23:59 GMT -12:00.
Format Instructions
Papers must be submitted as PDF, following the two-column format of IWPT proceedings (A4 paper size). Detailed formatting instructions are available in the example file iwpt2011.pdf below, which itself conforms to the format requirements. Authors are strongly recommended to use the style files provided here, preferably LaTeX and otherwise Word.
- The maximum length of a long paper is ten (10) pages of content, followed by any number of pages containing references only.
- The maximum length of a short paper is four (4) pages of content, followed by any number of pages containing references only.

Quick Check List for Camera-Ready Papers
Here is a list of the most important stylistic features to be checked before you submit your final camera-ready copy.
Failing to observe these instructions may result in re-submission. Remember to sign the copyright transfer agreement electronically or physically as well.
- Paper format: PDF.
- Non-English characters: embed all fonts when generating the PDF file.
- Paper size: A4 (210 x 297 mm).
- Title:
- Length: DO NOT exceed the left and right margins. Fold a long title into multiple lines if necessary.
- Capitalization: DO NOT FULLY CAPITALIZE THE TITLE LIKE THIS.
- Names of Authors:
- Capitalization: AUTHOR NAMES SHOULD NOT INCLUDE FULLY CAPITALIZED PARTS.
- Order: First Name First.
- Consistency: Same as registered to the submission page; same spelling style in all accepted papers to avoid generating multiple author index entries for authors with more than one accepted paper
- Page numbers and running headers: DO NOT supply.
- Font sizes, types, styles and line spacing: as specified in style file.
- Tables, Figures, Equations, Images: make small details clearly visible and add captions to each.
- References: sort in ascending order of family name of first authors and do not miss required information.
- Grammar: check common spelling and grammatical mistakes carefully.
