Welcome to the Eeolas Research Campus
Eeolas is a strategic national initiative initiated through a joint venture between Dublin City University and Citywest Business Campus to help transform the academic & enterprise relationship in Ireland
Eeolas Research Campus offers a university-style environment in a neutral venue to allow different academic organisations, multinational corporations and indigenous companies to interact and collaborate.
The basis of this collaboration is the area of research and development, which covers the entire spectrum from basic and applied research, through to Centres of Excellence, technology transfer activities and eventual commercialisation through patents or start-up activity.
By developing an academic & research campus within the Citywest campus, the Eeolas Research Campus will act as a focal point for the development of corporate research & development on the campus, and to aid the development of a hitech industry cluster along the M50 roadway which runs around Dublin City.
Other academic, enterprise, indigenous and foreign research partners are being approached to join in the endeavour, making it a unique development in Ireland.
The first major physical development is the Ryan Academy of Entrepreneurship, which is about to be built in Citywest and will be a key component of the management development element of the campus.
