Overall Result Calculation for the Graduate Certificate Programmes

To complete the Graduate Certificate programmes, you must complete four (4) taught modules.
The four taught modules are weighted at 1 each.
The overall mark for the programme is a weighted aggregate mark, calculated as follows:
As the taught modules are weighted at 1, we just add the actual results in each module together (i.e. this is the same as multiplying each individual actual module result by 1, and then adding all 4 together).
The total is then divided by 4 (i.e. the total number of weightings for the programme) - this gives us the weighted aggregate mark for the programme.
The Graduate Certificate award classifications are as follows:
PASS : 40 - 59%
Credit : 60 - 69%
Distinction : 70 - 100%
