The DCU School of Electronic Engineering and the School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering are delighted to be taking part in Engineers’ Week for the third year running. The aim of the week is to create a positive awareness and spark enthusiasm about the engineering profession and to raise awareness about engineering as a career. DCU Engineering staff and students will be welcoming students aged 8 – 14 to campus, and getting them involved in exciting engineering demonstrations and activities including building robots, racing hydro powered cars and learning about digital images and optic signaling. The event has been a huge success for DCU every year, and demand was so high for the 2010 event that places booked out within two days! |
