A three day event celebrating the connection between Ballymun and the 1916 Rising.

The schedule is as follows:

DÉ HAOINE/FRIDAY 9TH

11am - 12.30pm     Children's Art Competition: What does 1916 mean to me? Awards and Celebration

7pm - 9pm              Mise Eire (the 1916 Film): Introduced by Dr. John Buckley, DCU

DÉ SATHAIRN/SATURDAY 10TH

11am - 1pm             Ballymun 1916 - 1966 - 2016   Roundtable Discussion and Debate with Past and Present Residents, Planners an Others

1pm - 2pm               Lunch at the axis

2pm - 4pm               Roundtable with Political Representatives: What does 1916 mean to my Party/North Dublin?

4pm - 6pm               Music Session with the Rooney Clan

DÉ DOMHNAIGH/SUNDAY 11TH

11am - 1pm            GPO tour

A copy of the Commemoration Quilt in honour of the 77 women arrested after the Easter Rising will be on display from Friday to Sunday.
