Reformation 500

DCU proudly supports the Reformation 500 Conference, which marks the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's initiation of the Reformation in 1517.  The two-day event will commence Friday, 20th of October, from 2:30pm to 6:00pm at Christ Church Cathedral, and continues Saturday at DCU’s St. Patrick’s Campus from 9:30am to 4:30pm.

Experts from a variety of backgrounds will reflect on the Catholic and Protestant Reformation movements in Europe, Britain and Ireland during the early modern period, and discuss the latest research about religious change in a lively and accessible manner.  All who are interested in the origins and evolution of Protestant and Catholic traditions are encouraged to attend.

For more information about the programme for each day, visit the Archivium Hibernicum website.
