Health4Life Conference 2006

Held May 31 - June 2 at the School of Nursing, Dublin City University

Welcome from Chris Stevenson

The launch of Health4Life represents an important event in the history of interprofessional research in Ireland. It celebrates the research activity and strategy of the School of Nursing at DCU, but, more generically, highlights the existence, quality and growth potential of inter-professional and inter-organisational research across the island of Ireland. Increasing capacity and capability in emergent health and health related disciplines is a challenge that events like the launch can begin to address by bringing together people with different relationships with research, novices and experts, academics and service providers, lay people and professionals in a collegiate spirit.

The launch and conference programme offer something for everyone. There will be opportunity to hear about cutting edge research from national and international presenters, to engage in research methodology masterclasses, and identify potential research collaborations. We hope very much that you will join us and contribute to the spirit of the day.

Chair in Mental Health & Acting Head of School,
