Qualifications 1990 - Laurea in Filosofia (Equivalent of BA in Philosophy) First Class Honours, University of Bologna, Italy. Main Subjects studied: Moral Philosophy, Pedagogy, Philosophy of Language, History, Sociology. Major thesis (approx. 50,000 words) completed, Title: Love and Virtues in the Philosophy of Vladimir Jankelevitch. 1998 - M. Phil in Applied Linguistics (not graded) Centre for Language and Communication Studies, Trinity College, Dublin. Main Subjects studied: Second Language Acquisition, Syllabus Design, Lexicology, Discourse Analysis, Second Language Teaching Methodology, Sociolinguistics. (A minimum of five years teaching experience was required for enrolling for this Programme).
