Dr Francis Olabanji Lucas

Biographical Details:

Dr. Francis Olabanji LUCAS obtained BSEE, MEng and PhD all from the department of electronic engineering. He has significant experience in the synthesis, deposition, characterization of dielectrics and semiconductors (including hybrid organic/inorganic materials), design, fabrication, characterization and modeling of microelectronic devices. In these fields, he has authored 14 publications in reputable international journals including a European patent application. He is an active reviewer of the Semiconductor Science Technology and Materials letters. Dr. Lucas is actively involved with the FLUX project: Development of prototype devices for flexible white-light emitters based on copper (I) chloride technology and co-supervises 2 PhD students along with Prof. Pat McNally. He currently lectures EE217 (Measurements and Electromechanical Systems) and EE315 (Solid State Electronics) modules in the School of Electronic Engineering.

Synthesis, deposition, characterization of dielectrics, semiconductor materials and devices(including hybrid organic/inorganic materials/devices).
