These interests fall into four interrelated strands of research. Firstly, developing targeted mental health interventions for hard to reach populations (i.e. young males, individuals with eating disorders). Secondly, Health Services Research (HSR) with a focus on factors that influence the use of health services in difficult to access population groups. Third, the role of perfectionistic cognitive processes in psychological health and personal adjustment. Fourth, clinical sport and exercise psychology, for example, depression, eating disorders and psychological recovery in sport.
