Biographical Details:

Graduated for UCD (Medical School) 1983. Studied Sports Medicine in London 1986-88. Worked in UCD Medical School 1990-1996 developing and directing MSc (Sports and Exercise Medicine) Programme. In DCU since 2000 working in School of Health and Human Performance (primarily in the BSc(ATT) Programme area and also in DCU Sport (special populations exercise programmes). Outside DCU acting as director of Exwell Medical, Sports Medicine Consultant in Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital and also medical consultant to Riverdance

Exercise for special populations, obesity, musculoskeletal injury in athletes
