Research Interests:

Research interests include examining the determinants and architecture of home-based social care in older adults, both in Ireland and comparatively. I am interested in the funding and provision of formal home care and how services are targeted at older populations. I am also interested in the interrelationship between formal and informal care and how they impact on one another. Other research interests include the the communication between primary and secondary care services and empowerment of nurses.
