Biographical Details:
BBS, RNID,RGN,HiDip SVR, MSc. MSc study involved exploring the social model of disability in Irish intellectual disability nursing. Principle Investigator in a study comparing a community and campus based day centre for people with a severe level of intellectual disability. Research work carried out on childrens services design and evaluation with the Dartington Social Research Unit.
Research Interests:
The social model of disability and intellectual disability nursing. Currently researching evaluation and the development of Irish preschool programmes targeting educational disadvantage.
