Ms Angela Cocoman
Biographical Details:
Angela Cocoman i s a Registered Nurse with a BNS and a MSc in Nursing. She is a registered PhD candidate who is using an action research methodology exploring: how the care of community-dwelling psychiatric patients who receive long-acting neuroleptic injections can be enhanced/improved.
Research Interests:
Angela is employed as a lecturer in the School of Nursing at DCU where she teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has worked on an EU grant funded project called ePsyNurse.net, which aims to reform and develop nurses continuing vocational training in psychiatric hospitals and inpatient units, by developing a new multinational interactive web based curriculum for psychiatric/mental health nurses. She has also led the audit of the clinical nursing environment and has administrative responsibility for the clinical allocation of BSc student nurses.
