Dr Na Fu

Biographical Details:

Na Fu is a postdoctoral research fellow at Dublin City University. The fellowship is funded by the Irish Research Council (formerly IRCHSS). She is a member of LInK Research Centre. Na received her BA in Engineering from Northeastern University (China) and a Doctoral Degree from Dublin City University in 2011.

Na's research involves human resource management in professional service firms and public sector. She was the 2012 nominee for the William H. Newman Award, 2010 recipient of the Bentley College & HEC School Management Outstanding Graduate Paper Award, both from Management Consulting Division at Academy of Management Annual Conference. Her PhD thesis explored the indirect effect of high performance work systems in professional service firms using a practices-resources-uses-performance approach. Her thesis was the Highly Commended Award Winner in the 2011 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards in the Human Resource Management category. Recently, a project proposal led by Na was Highly Commended Award winner of 2011 Emerald/IACMR Chinese Management Research Fund Award.
