PhD in Comparative Literature - Viva held Nov -2012. Award: accepted with no changes. Doctoral Scholarip of the Government of Ireland scholar (IRCHSS 2008-2012). Co-supervised PhD between the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona and Dublin City University. Title: "The Architectural Void: Space as Transgression in Postmodern Short Fiction of the Fantastic (1974-2010)".
