Dr Grainne Kelly
Biographical Details:
Dr Gráinne Kelly is a Post Doctoral Researcher with the Human Resource Management and Organisational Psychology Group at the Leadership, Innovation and Knowledge (LInK) Research Centre at Dublin City University. Gráinne is currently working on two research projects: (1) The first project is funded by the Irish Centre for Manufacturing Research and focuses on tacit knowledge management practices among employees in a manufacturing context. Data for this project involves case studies in seven multinational firms operating in Ireland; (2) The second project aims to understand the impact that the recessionary climate is having on the extent to which organisations deploy sophisticated human resource management practices. She also lectures in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations at DCU. Grainne previously held the position of Post Doctoral Researcher on a two year international research project on knowledge intensive firms at DCU. In this position she worked with research teams in Ireland and the UK exploring the linkages between HR practices and employee outcomes in the pharmaceutical and ICT sectors. She was awarded a Government of Ireland scholarship to undertake her PhD studies at the University of Limerick where she also received first class honours in her Bachelor of Business Studies Degree.
