Biographical Details:

Aileen O'Reilly, BA (Hons), PhD is a postdoctoral research psychologist working on a project evaluating the Psychosocial/Psychoeducational Intervention for People with Recurrent Suicide Attempts (PISA). She completed her PhD dissertation in the area of Social/Cultural Psychology, and this research was funded by the IRCHSS. Aileen is also currently the Psy6a/Soc6b research module coordinator and a BA supervisor with Oscail, DCU.

She is currently the PSI Student Liaison Officer and a member of PSI Council. Aileen is also a member of the PSI Communications subgroup, Treasurer of the PSI Division of Teachers and Researchers and the Irish Psychologist (IP) editorial team.

Research Interests:

Suicide, mental health, cross-cultural adaptation, international students' psychosocial adaptation.
