Dr Claire Armstrong
Biographical Details:
Claire is a social scientist with eleven years extensive research, teaching & supervision experience in human resource management, organisational behaviour, research methods and healthcare management. She received her PhD from the University of Limerick in 2004 and prior to that, completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at NUI Galway in 1999. She has been instrumental in obtaining Euro405,000 in research funding as principal investigator, joint project director and collaborator. She has extensive research experience using quantitative, qualitative and mixed-method approaches. She has supervised one PhD and two Masters students to completion. She has taught a variety of subjects at numerous third level institutions, profit-making organisations and charities, at all levels from undergraduate to executive education and PhD level. Claire has published extensively and her academic papers have had 151 citations to date.
