Future Conferences

  • CERME 10
    School members are on the local organizing committee of the 10th Congress of European Research in Mathematics Education, to be held in Dublin in February 2017. The conference is being organised by Mathematics Education colleagues.

Past Conferences

  • Frontiers in Financial Mathematics, 2013
    This was jointly organised by the Mathematical Finance Research group at DCU and FMC2 At this international conference, the speakers included renowned researchers from European and North American academic institutions. This event was held at the Institute of Bankers on the river Liffey, from June 4th-7th 2013. A detailed program and videos of the plenary talks can be downloaded from the official website
  • Progress of Difference Equations, 2011
    Progress of Difference Equations is a series of meetings, which in 2011 took place at DCU. The topics of the conference were difference equations (ordinary and partial), discrete dynamical systems, and their applications in all fields including Mathematical Biology and Financial Mathematics.
  • Science and Mathematics Education Conference (SMEC) 2010
    This conference took place 16th - 17th September 2010. It was organised by CASTeL, and members of the School were on the organising committee.
  • BritGrav 10
    The School of Mathematical Sciences hosted the 10th British Gravitational Symposium (BritGrav 10) on April 6th - 7th 2010. This was the first time this annual conference, dedicated to all areas of gravitational physics and related mathematical topics, was held outside the UK.
