DCU Allumnus Charity Swim

Taoiseach praises Ireland's Talented Youth at DCU

DCU Alumni Fergal Somerville will this week take on a solo swim from the beautiful Donaghadee Harbour in Co. Down to Portpatrick on the Dumfrys coast of Scotland. The 33km swim – which will take over 14hours to complete – will raise funds for Aislinn Addiction Services.

Fergal aims to be become the first DCU Alumnus to swim the north channel, having completed a swim of the English Channel last September.

You can follow Fergal's swim on his blog at http://fergalsomerville.blogspot.ie and also his progress will be monitored by an online swim tracker, updated every 10 minutes.
