Collaborate to Innovate

In these challenging times companies need to consider smarter ways of developing their business. DCU Invent, the technology transfer experts, will host 'Collaborate to Innovate', a showcase to advise Irish companies how they could leverage generous R&D grants to tap into university research and grow their business, at the Guinness Storehouse on Thursday 21st June at 4:00pm.

Participants will gain unique insights from the CEOs of leading companies on how they have worked with DCU to gain a competitive advantage:

• Joe Marks, former Head of Disney Research and founder of Irish start-up, Upfront Analytics 'Messy, Unpredictable, Wonderful Collaboration'

• Brian Spector, CEO Certivox, an award-winning start-up bringing security to cloud computing 'Securing Information in the Cloud'

• David Walsh, CEO Netwatch, a fast-growing Irish company using the latest technologies to revolutionise the security monitoring industry. 'Creating a Fearless Environment'

• Gabriel Hogan, Research & Innovation Manager, LM Ericsson Ltd (Ireland), a world-leading telecoms equipment provider 'Inside Out and Outside (In)novation'

• Gearoid Mooney, Director ICT, Enterprise Ireland 'A Guide to Innovation Partnerships'

Leading DCU researchers will also be on hand to explain their research expertise in cloud computing, sensor networks text and data analytics, multimedia analysis amongst others and to explore with participants the potential for developing business in collaboration with DCU Invent.
