DCU launches new Alumni information pack

A brand new suite of DCU Alumni literature has been launched at the inaugural DCU Alumni Away Day 2012. The pack of information contains factsheets outlining how DCU graduates can re-connect with their university: Social, Professional, Students, Chapters and Sports.

Over seventy DCU graduates, students and university representatives gathered at Alumni Away Day to reflect on the development of the alumni programme to date and the role of DCU's alumni body in implementing the University's new strategic plan. Participants were invited to share their views on how the alumni programme can offer greater value in the context of the new DCU Strategy, 'Transforming Lives and Societies 2012 – 2017', and how DCU can better engage with its alumni.

Thanking graduates for their participation in the day's activities, DCU Alumni Council Chair, Gay White said "The input of our graduates in the development of the Alumni programme is hugely important. The feedback we have received here today at the inaugural Alumni Away Day has been extremely beneficial and will assist us to improve and expand the work that we do."

She added, "To those graduates who have not yet re-connected with DCU, I would invite you to get in touch with the Alumni Office to discover the range of activities on offer and see how you might like to connect. This is your university and we would welcome your thoughts about how the DCU Alumni Council may serve the graduates it represents."
