DCU graduate to captain Irish rugby team

DCU graduate, Jamie Heaslip has been selected to captain the Irish rugby team when they line out against South Africa at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday 9th November.

For Jamie, who graduated with a BEng in Medical Mechanical Engineering, this will be his first time to captain the national squad. He will become the 101st captain of the Ireland senior team and has described himself as 'humbled and proud' to receive this honour.

The DCU community wishes Jamie every success in tomorrow's showdown with the Springboks!
