Expansion of Environmental Science and Health International
Leading academics from United Arab Emirate University (UAEU), University of Wollongong (UoW), University of Colorado (CU) and DCU met to discuss Expansion of the International Programme in Environmental Science & Health. The DCU lead meeting focussed on increased Globalisation of the Student Experience
This meeting also coincided with the accreditation of the programme in CU, meaning that this year's intake of students will be the first graduating class in all institutions.
This award* winning elite programme truly shapes students into globally engaged rounded individuals. Students take video classes with all partner institutions in areas of global societal significance, including international perspectives on climate change, bioethical dilemmas and research frontiers, in addition to spending a semester in a partner institution.
*awards won include the Carrick Institute Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning from the Australian Government; American Council of Education award for innovative practices in international education and technology "One International Baccalaureate Degree: Three Universities"; Presidential Award for Engagement given by the U.S. President's Commission on Higher Education.
