Great Edinburgh victory for Fionnuala Britton

DCU graduate, Fionnuala Britton, has claimed the 2013 Great Edinburgh Cross Country title in impressive style against a formidable international field.

The double European Cross Country Champion finished 16 seconds ahead of The Netherland's Adrienne Herzog, in a hard–fought competition. Fionnuala and Linda Byrne, also a graduate of DCU, who finished an impressive 6th in the race, were key players in the European team which took overall victory ahead of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
