DCU Jobs Fair

The DCU Accounting, Finance, Business & Law Fair takes place in The Helix on Thursday 2 October.

Forty companies, ranging from multinationals to SMEs, have 1,500 positions on offer via graduate recruitment programmes.  The Fair is aimed at students interested in pursuing a career in business, finance, accounting or law. You don't have to be a business student to attend - many employers are looking for applications from students of all backgrounds.

Yvonne McLoughlin, DCU Head of Careers, encourages all students to attend the event. “I would encourage DCU students to hit the ground running in their final year by attending the Accounting, Business, Finance and Law Jobs Fair.  This is the perfect opportunity to meet with potential employers, find out about the graduate recruitment opportunities and get invaluable advice on submitting an application.”

The Jobs Fair is organised by DCU Careers Service which helps students to translate their skills, attributes, experiences, and learning into the job marketplace.  They help students to increase their job competitiveness in the marketplace. Some of the services they offer include careers advice; employer recruitment presentations; career fairs; skills sessions (e.g., job search strategies, career decision making; interview and CV techniques, CV clinics and mock interviews); online resources including psychometric testing and online jobs board.
