Mini-Conference on Mobile Marketing and Technologies

DCU Business School in conjunction with the Business Innovation Platform, the DCU Ryan Academy, IC4 and Microsoft wishes to invite you to The Helix at Dublin City University on Tuesday, December 1st for the 6th annual “Get Mobile” mini-conference. 

“Get Mobile 2015” is a free mini-conference featuring presentations on current issues in mobile marketing and technologies. It will take place from 1400 - 1800 in The Mahony Hall of the Helix at Dublin City University.

The event will be chaired by Eoghan Stack (CEO, DCU Ryan Academy) and will feature presentations from executives from leading Irish and international companies in the mobile space including:

  •  Colm Dwyer (Head of Sales, Microsoft Ireland)
  •  Owen Byrne (Head of Product, FIRE)
  •  Stephen Jio (Social Media Marketing Manager and Tablet Creative Launch Manager, ‎Dell)

The keynote will be a 90 minute presentation on “The Future of Marketing in a Mobile First World” delivered by Paul Berney. Paul is the Managing Partner EMEA and Co-Founder of mCordis with over 10 years of experience in mobile marketing. As Chief Marketing Officer & Managing Director of the EMEA branch of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), Paul led the MMA’s global marketing efforts and more specifically the activities involving more than 150 member companies in EMEA. He has over 25 years’ experience in a wide variety of sales, marketing, business development and commercial roles spanning several different industries and market sectors including automotive, printing, internet development and management consultancy. He sits on the editorial Board of the IDM and was voted one of the Top 50 influencers in mobile marketing in the UK by The Drum magazine 2013 & 2014.
