David Collings, Co- Director of the Leadership and Talent Institute and Professor of Human Resources at Dublin City University Business School, has been named one of the world's Most Influential Thinkers in the area of Human Resource Management by HR Magazine for the third consecutive year.

David's research and consulting has been hugely influential in the area of global mobility and talent management over recent years. A key focus of his work is on understanding how employees add value and how organisations can support key employee groups in generating sustainable performance.

The 2016 list was unveiled at an exclusive event in Claridge's Hotel in London on 20th September. Speaking after the event, David Collings said:

"As Ireland's University of Enterprise influencing thinking and practice is central to the mission of Dublin City University. Being recognised by one of the leading industry publications for my influence on HR practice is simply the greatest recognition I could hope for. Being on the same list as many of the people who have influenced my thinking is truly an honour and privilege."

HR Magazine’s Most Influential is an annual list that celebrates the leading players in the field of people strategy. These are the people whose ideas and actions are shaping practices in human resources globally. First published in 2006, the HR Most Influential list is compiled by HR magazine’s editorial team in conjunction with expert panels of head hunters, academics, former HR directors and readers.
