Tribute to Mr Peter Sutherland RIP

It was with great sadness that the DCU community learned of the passing of our honorary alumnus, Mr Peter Sutherland.

Throughout a distinguished career that encompassed the worlds of law, government, business and humanitarianism, Mr Sutherland made many important contributions on both the national and international stages.  As a committed European, not least of these was the establishment of the Erasmus exchange programme which has provided a transformative experience for millions of students throughout the European Union.  

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Sutherland at this very sad time.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a Anam.
