Testimonials
"The Master programme was one of the most inclusive, informative, and supportive learning opportunities I have ever undertaken. I had been an Electronic Engineer for 15 years and really wanted a new challenge. I wanted a new career where I could see the positive effect of my efforts on the world around me. I guess the true test of any learning programme is whether or not it can deliver the career opportunities that the programme of learning promises. For me, the Masters has delivered, as I successfully changed career to Learning & Development programs manager." Garrett Ryan, Training Program Manager, IBM Dublin Technology Campus
"The M.Sc. eLearning gave me a great insight into the use of technology in my workplace and allowed me to develop multimedia and web based skills that not only benefited my personal learning but also were of great benefit to my pupils and the entire school. The programme allowed me to do this in a practical action research based approach with both online and face to face support received throughout, which was fantastic!" Miriam Fitzpatrick, Primary School Teacher
"I commenced the two year M.Sc. in Education and Training Management course (Leadership Strand) in October 2006 and I can honestly say it provided me with a systematic grounding in the leadership skills I now use in my job as Principal of Rice College Westport, a job I commenced in September 2008. I started the course with high expectations and I wasn't disappointed. It energised me because the course content was rooted in the real world of leadership. The whole course was engaging and we had plenty of opportunities in class-time and key assignments to apply the theories to our own work situations." Patricia Atkins, Principal, Rice College, Westport
"I found the e-Learning programme a really effective learner-centred approach which allowed me to explore my own areas of interest, while teaching valuable technical skills, and providing a thorough grounding in learning theories and research. The programme has a sound theoretical and research foundation which when combined with the technical and educational skills and pedagogies means a great learning experience, and one which has greatly helped my career progression." Daragh Power, Training Consultant
