The School of Nursing and Human Sciences is a dynamic and rapidly growing school that has developed a number of exciting postgraduate programmes in Nursing, Healthcare practice, Counselling & Psychotherapy and Sexuality Studies. These programmes are delivered by leaders in their field who are committed to supporting the development of individuals in their chosen career. Informing our teaching methods are the very latest developments from our researchers who conduct world quality research in a number of health care disciplines as well as cross disciplinary research in Biological Sciences, Sociology, Ethics and Psychology. Our advanced teaching facilities ensure there is a wide range of teaching methods and resources such as the use real life simulations, problem based learning and blended learning. Our students graduate with higher order skills such as independent learning, problem solving, communication skills and prioritisation techniques, making them highly attractive to potential employers.
