Description

In this module the student will gain experience in researching and reviewing a research topic.

Learning Outcomes

1. Research the pertinent literature relevant to a given topic using, in particular, published scientific articles as sources
2. Discriminate between articles that are more relevant/less relevant
3. Critically evaluate in an original way the contributions of various discoveries to the understanding of the topic
4. Compose a written document to present critical contributions in a structured way
5. Integrate references to the source material appropriately

A research topic will be chosen by the student from a list provided by the academic staff.
The student will source relevant information to write a literature review on the chosen topic.

A literature review will be written following guidelines provided.
