Description
The purpose of this module is to provide students with an array of up to date topics in the field of biological sciences. These topics can then be discussed in the class room with their own students. Students are given lectures how to write scientifically and how to source scientific literature efficiently.Topics addressed with students are from the following areas of biological science and give the students a wide variety of topics for use in the classroom: Molecular Evolution, immunology, Virology, Human health, Human genetics, and ethics are currently offered but these topics vary year on year.

1. Discuss a variety of biological topics with peers and with students in a class room situation.
2. Give detail on up to the minute biological discoveries
3. Write scientifically
4. Assess the scientific literature critically, and formulate scientific arguments
5. Describe in detail a number of different biological problems and solutions.
