The module is primarily focused on Data Management with some emphasis on the different Architectures necessary to facilitate data management. The course is designed to incorporate modern data management and will include Data Management for the Cloud; XML Data Management; Service Oriented Architectures, and Enterprise SOA.

Learning Outcomes
1. Be in a position to critique Cloud Services in relational to data management.
2. Be able to use and deploy Cloud concepts such as Fusion Tables and Cloud Data Visualisation.
3. Describe the concepts and technology behind Service Oriented Computing.
4. Be able to use XML Data Manipulation languages such as XPath and XQuery.
