Description
|
To allow the student to develop a reasonably large software system or to allow the student to carry out some element of research and investigation under the direction of a member of academic staff. This investigation is carried out in such a way that it is thorough and detailed and will involve some element of independent analysis of findings. The investigation will be reported through documentation and a final presentation of results.

1. Propose and design a large software project or aproject involving research on software development. 2. Sucessfully liase with a supervisory figure on the design and work progress of the project. 3. 4th year project. Each student will develop either a software application or a research project in this area. Ideas for the content of this project may come from a member of the School of Computing, may be a development of an idea of the students or come from an outside source (subject to school approval)..
