Description
|
The purpose of this module is for the students to produce a thesis on some advanced topic in the area of Information technology. The research work should be contained in a dissertation of approximately 25,000 words, and should broadly adhere to the structure suggested in the research seminars. The dissertation should contain clear objectives and motivation, and demonstrate that stated objectives have been achieved. Students are expected to meet regularly with their supervisor to discuss the progress of their thesis.

1. Speak, write and comment authoritatively on the topic of their thesis, in which they will have attained considerable expertise.
2. Write scholarly papers on the topic of their thesis
3. Undertake further research in their area of expertise
