Description
The module aims to develop an understanding of the need for cloud computing, an appreciation of issues associated with managing cloud architecture ranging from business architecture aspects such as business processes to approaches to software architecture and design such as service orientation and quality considerations, and to develop critical analysis and problem solving skills in a cloud systems project.

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify the technical foundations of cloud systems architectures.
2. Analyse the problems and solutions to cloud application problems.
3. Apply principles of best practice in cloud application design and management.
4. Identify and define technical challenges for cloud applications and assess their importance.
