This course examines the formal strategies and visual economies of television drama within a social, historical and cultural context.

Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate an understanding of language of narrative and visual culture in relation to the field of television drama
2. Explain the formal and generic strategies of television within an industrial and institutional context;
3. Develop a critical framework for analysis of television drama in its diversity
