Description
MODULE AIMS: To provide advanced skills in the creative and technical aspects of image capture, editing and manipulation for use in a range of traditional and new media. To provide a critical understanding of and engagement with the photographic image in contemporary visual culture.

Learning Outcomes
1. Employ advanced technical and conceptual skills required for realising and producing photographic work forprofessional practice.
2. Demonstrate the ability to write and creatively interpret a photographic brief.
3. Employ key skills in the use of Photoshop, Camera Raw and related software for image/graphic/artworkediting for traditional and new media authoring.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of the evolving genres and language of contemporary photogaphicpractice and related media.
