Description
MODULE AIMS: To enable students to develop a cohesive portfolio of original practice-based image research in both digital and traditional print. To build on the technical, conceptual, creative and professional skills already developed in earlier modules in Photography and Imaging within the Communication Studies programme.

Learning Outcomes
1. Interpret, research and successfully complete an artistic or creative commercial brief to a high standard for print and digital image media.
2. Demonstrate, through independent research and practice, problem solving and creativity through the completion of a resolved self-generated, negotiated photographic/imaging brief.
3. Apply a high level of expertise in the use of digital photography, digital editing and traditional colour darkroom practice.
4. Critique specific approaches to the medium of photography and contextualise these approaches in relation to the work of lens-based artists
