Description

This module will provide both the skills and the mentoring needed to develop a major multimedia project.Attention will be paid to the many pitfalls that can loose the time needed to bring a major multimedia artefact from initial idea to useable asset. The students will be introduced to techniques and practices to provide reliable pacing and maintain momentum during the development process.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify current trends in Multimedia
2. Prepare a trailer or prototype.
3. Appraise their own experiment in new media production or technique for viability in major project.
4. Deliver a pitch based on the original idea for the major project.
5. Develop original project ideas for the major project.
6. Choose a team for the project by identifying the key role sand skills needed.
