Description
|
This module will focus on the further development of students' vocabulary range and mastery of grammatical structures and functions in English at CEF level C2. There will also be a focus on the four language skills so that students can operate to near native competence in their use of English. There will be a particular focus on academic writing contexts and conventionsMinimum exit level for this module is C1 (CEFR)

1. Summarise key points of highly complex, demanding texts 2. Demonstrate a high level of mastery of idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms in a broad range of language contexts 3. On successful completion of this module, students will be able to participate effectively in team-based projects 4. Express themselves with a high degree of flexibility and accuracy in all social, academic and professional settings
