Description
This module aims to develop students' understanding of the theoretical framework of lifespan development within the context of the principal theories of learning. It also amis to integrate findings from child, adolescent and adult learning environments to examin how experience generates developmental change and growth to facilitate the promotion of indvidual differences with context of biologcial, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual development

Learning Outcomes
1. 1. Recognise that "development" continues throughout the lifespan and identify similarities and changes throughout development in the following contexts: Physical;Cognitive;Emotional;Social and Spiritual
2. Identify the differential and interrelated influences of neurogenetics; culture and environment on individual development acorss the lifespan in childhood, adolescence and adults
3. Examine the influence of theories of learning in children, adolescent and adults
4. Identify ones own practice and engage in self-reflection as a means to understanding the psychological and educational development of others

Theme 1.
Psychological theories of Human Development across the lifespan ; Individual Differences.

Theme 2.
Early and middle childhood development; the play years ; the school years.

Theme 3.
Concepts of adolescence, identity, peers, parenting, mental health and well being, cogntivie development.

Theme 4.
Young to Middle Adulthood; milestones, educational and career choice- identifcation of adult learners and learning environments.

Individual Differences.
