To develop an awareness of, and appreciation for the presence of diverse learning styles in todays learners.To facilitate students to explore, examine and select advanced teaching strategies.To accommodate the students development and structuring of the various strategies to meet the needs of young learners.Becoming a critically reflective practitioner (active teacher/learner)

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify the procedures involved in setting up and structuring advanced strategies such as: different teaching models and settings.
2. Describe a range of appropriate teaching and learning methods and strategies
3. Evaluate and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of various advanced teaching strategies
4. Students will be expected to be able to summarize the learning theories behind each teaching strategy.
5. Describe and range of learning theories, such as Experiential learning, Learning Styles, Multiple Intelligence.
