Description
This module will introduce students to the concepts of equality, diversity and inclusion as they relate to education and training

Learning Outcomes
1. Students will be able to identify the 9 grounds set out in the Equality legislation.
2. Students will be able to analyse the implications of catering for diversity in society and in schooling
3. . Students will be familiar with key EU and Irish Legislation on equality, diversity and inclusion in society and education.
4. Students will be able to examine the implications of educational inequality for individuals, society and schools.
